Hot and cold services
Insulation for pipework, vessels, equipment, boilers and suitable flat surfaces. Material, thickness, finish and temperature-duty requirements follow the project specification.
Cladding and protection
Protective finishes, joints and access provisions considered with the installation. Cold-service details, weather exposure and removable-access needs are clarified before work starts.
Acoustic applications
Acoustic treatment for appropriate walls, ceilings and service applications, based on the required construction and agreed acoustic specification.
Plan the interfaces. Record the completion.
Confirm service temperatures, substrate condition, approved materials, installation sequence, inspection release points and access to valves, equipment and maintenance items. Coordinate interfaces with HVAC, piping and supports.
Inspection, testing and handover
Check the agreed material, installation and finish requirements. Reinstatement after maintenance is scoped against the exposed condition and the original or revised insulation specification.
